Summary: We loved staying at the Golden Nugget Hotel, our stay was great. Rooms were very clean, loved having the patio for my dog. We all felt safe and enjoyed our visit. Onl downfall was the pool is only 3 1/2 feet deep, more like a wading pool. The casino was disappointing, it cigarette smoke was overwhelming, the tiny section they had allocated as smoke free was not smoke free. I would stay at the hotel again but would gamble at Riverside, they had a great smoke free section. Mohegan Sun anf Foxwoods in Connecticut are completely smoke free, not sure why these smaller casino can't be too! I fel sorry for their employee's.

Summary: The room was too cold and there should be better control on noise. We could hear kids jumping on the floor above and it went on for several hours onto the night.

Summary: To be fair. I reserved 2 rooms. One of the rooms was disgusting and the other one was acceptable. This was my first time staying at the golden nugget. Lesson learned. Back tonthe aquarious.

Summary: The room we stayed in was clean, but we noticed maintenance issues. The bathroom had mold building up, the wall had openings/cracks from some type of damage and the vents must have been connected to one of the rooms near us because we could smell when someone else would use their bathroom or smoked. We were lucky that those smells mostly came around when we would go out. Also, the door to enter your room is heavy so be careful because it will slam and make a loud noise that many people will hear; the walls and floors were not as sound proof as we hoped for.
